Things are looking up….I had a third interview with a
FANTASTIC agency that I’d love to work for. I’d be really excited for the
challenges and new opportunities it would offer me. But I’m not counting my
chickens yet!
I signed a lease on a great apartment, and I’m 80% packed
up. I scheduled my movers for Saturday and again for the 28th when I
move into my place.
I’ve been plotting my stops across the US. I realized that I’ll
have driven across the US this past year: Thanksgiving from Chicago to New York
City and now from Chicago to Seattle. :)
I’m pretty hyped about the weather, moving, and the opportunity
to really apply myself and my skills. I know that I have rough patches, but I
always come out on top. I heard a cheesy quote last night….”It’s not what
knocks you down that defines you. It’s how you stand up.”
I’ve been knocked down in my life quite a bit—both from my
own doing and from interactions with others—but I’m grateful of where I am. I
feel like I’m on the precipice of something amazing, and I can’t wait to go on
this adventure!
Here is a cat eating a rainbow snowcone just BECAUSE.
